Magna in line for award
SCIENCE centre Magna will find out next month if it has won a top award after being shortlisted among the region’s tourist hotspots.
The former steelworks is up for the Business Tourism award in the White Rose Awards run by Welcome to Yorkshire.
Also in the running are The Spa in Bridlington, the National Railway Museum in York, Scarborough Spa, York Marriott Hotel, York Conferences and the
National Media Museum in Bradford.
Throapham House guest house in Dinnington is shortlisted in the Bed & Breakfast category.
The results will be announced on November 11 at New Dock Hall near Leeds’ Royal Armouries.
