Local housebuilder hosts first time buyer event to support those looking to get on the housing ladder

On Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October, local housebuilder Barratt Homes will be hosting an exclusive event across its developments in West and South Yorkshire for first time buyers. The events are running in association with the Help to Buy agent for Yorkshir

The events will not only offer key advice from experts to help prospective buyers understand how to buy their first home, but will also give those reserving the opportunity to take advantage of an exclusive first time buyers’ pack – offering free carpets, appliances, stamp duty paid and £500 towards legal fees for this weekend only.

A representative from the government’s local Help to Buy agent will be on hand to help visitors understand how the Help to Buy scheme works and how to qualify and start the process. Furthermore, independent financial advice will be available, so visitors can learn more about how much they can borrow and reserve their first home this weekend.

The event will be taking place across the developments from 10.30am on both October 4 and 5.

Sales advisers from Barratt Homes will also be on hand to speak to prospective buyers about the process of buying a new home, with the aim of making their experience of buying a first home stress-free and easy, by guiding them every step of the way.
