Kilnhurst fun day for dog rescue
A BOUNCY castle, plants, cakes and craft stalls are hoping to set tails and tongues wagging at a charity fun day.
Netherlands Dog Rescue in Kilnhurst is throwing open its gates from 11am to 3pm on July 28.
Volunteer Sandra Longbottom said: “We are hoping that visitors will look around our kennels and see the work we do in saving local dogs from been put to sleep.
“We also would like visitors to take our dogs for a walk and introduce them to the possibility of becoming a volunteer walker for us.”
