Kids can get creative in new Cast show

CHILDREN will be given the chance to create their own digital cartoon in a show coming to Doncaster’s Cast Theatre on June 1.

They will be able to use state-of-the-art iPad technology to get creative in the children’s theatre production.

The Adventures of Walter Lemonface invites children to create their own digital cartoon theatre show in real-time.

Two digital artists create the show’s main character, Walter Lemonface, and his world live on iPads which is projected on a full-sized cinema screen.

Storyteller Dan Mallaghan narrates the show while musician Nick Lewis creates a live guitar soundtrack.

The show is full of joining in as the audience tells Walter where to go, the costumes he should wear and what to do next.

The show has been created by 154Collective, a Yorkshire-based group of artists specialising in theatre, graphic animation, music and photography.
