Hospice cash boost as lawyers donate wills fees
The Rotherham and Doncaster branches of Malcolm C Foy & Co raised the money by staging two will aid events.

Hide AdIn the Rotherham office Clare Outram, private client executive, gave her time and 100 per cent of her fees during a Make A Will Month.
In Doncaster, director Sarah Hartley raised money from a Make a Will week staged for the Master Cutler Challenge, which supports both Rotherham and St Luke's Hospices.
Clare said: “People often tell us Rotherham Hospice is a cause close to their hearts when they make their wills.

Hide Ad“By leaving a small gift or legacy in their will, maybe in memory of a loved one, they are making an important contribution.”
Peter Bradley, director of fundraising at Rotherham Hospice, said: “We are extremely grateful to Malcolm C Foy for supporting us in this way.
“Leaving a legacy in your will is a final gesture to a cause you feel strongly about.

Hide Ad“Legacies are a vital part of the hospice’s income and a cornerstone of our future services.
“We need £5 million a year to provide all our services and £2.2 million of this has to be found by fundraising.”
