History of food in town

A TALK at Clifton Park Museum will focus on the history of food in Rotherham.

Discover Second World War recipe books, shopping notebooks kept by a 1950s housewife and find out just exactly what goes in to Rotherham Sauce.

Food Glorious Food is a show and tell-style talk, including an exclusive chance to look inside the Rotherham Archives strongroom.

It takes place on Saturday, December 17, at 11am to noon and then at 2pm to 3pm, and costs £5.
