Heritage on show

A HISTORIC dovecote will have a rare opening this weekend as part of an annual scheme which allows history lovers to have a peak at the heritage on their doorstep.

The Barnburgh Hall Dovecote will be open to the public on Sunday between 10.30am and 4pm.

It stands in the grounds of Barnburgh Hall, off Hall Street in Barnburgh, which was demolished in 1967 and dates from around the 15th century.
