Goldthorpe cinema-goers far from ‘Frozen’

CINEMA-goers were far from Frozen as they sung and danced their way through a special screening of their favourite animated Disney movie.

Youngsters dressed to impress when they attended Dearne Advanced Learning Centre, Goldthorpe Road, Goldthorpe, for a screening of Frozen for a special sing-along screening.

Visitors belted out the chart hit Let It Go as they entered a snow-covered spirit ahead of the festive season.

Ernie Gadsby — part of the Goldthorpe, Bolton and Highgate Big Local scheme which is behind a series of community cinema screenings — said: “We had a terrific evening for The Dearne Community Cinema's Frozen sing-along.”

The Dearne Community Cinema charges £3 per ticket for entry to screenings, with family tickets available for £10.

On Saturday (20) the scheme’s festive film will be Elf, screened from 11.30am.

Mulled wine, mince pies and other festive family treats will all be offered at the screening.
