Fundraising event for leukaemia sufferer
A fundraising event is to take place on Wednesday August 14 from 6pm at the Bluebell Inn on Manvers Way to help raise funds for leukaemia sufferer Dan Moxon.
There will be various quizzes, games, a raffle and an auction with items including a signed David Beckham poster; a signed Rotherham United football and pair of match tickets; £500 kitchen voucher from Kirby Kitchens; as well as various electrical and computer equipment.
Dan's colleagues at Maplin Electronics, who have organised the event and prizes, have so far raised £7,840.41 for Dan's Chance For Life appeal.
