Free rides, dog show and fooball fun at village fete tomorrow

FREE carousel rides are on offer at a special fete tomorrow to mark the anniversary of a park’s revamp.

Greasbrough Recreation Ground is hosting the event from 11am to 3pm.

It will include an inter-school football tournament organised and supported by Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, free carousel rides for children, a fun dog show run by Rotherham Dog Rescue, donkey rides, a children’s entertainer, Thorpe Hesley Brass Band, craft stalls and information stalls.

The event has been organised to celebrate the first anniversary of the multi-use games area in Greasbrough.
