Football to films, animals to arts: Summer staycation activities

FROM football to films, animals to arts and crafts – Doncaster Council has partnered up with local providers, community and voluntary groups to bring children and young people a summer full of activities.

Children and young people, from primary to post-16, can get involved in the Summer Staycation programme of events including family fun days and art exhibitions.

Denaby Summer Football Camp will offer sessions for children aged four to 16 of any ability between July 31 and August 11.

Mystery Film Nights will be held at Conisborough Library on August 14 and 21.

Tickhill Library will host Sam’s Safaris, an animal education company providing amazing animal encounters with exotic and rare animals from all over the world on August 2, while card-making workshops will be at Mexborough Library between August 23 and August 25,

Most of the activities are free but some do have a small charge.
