Flutter on down for some summertime fun

AHOY there, ship mates!

Captain Jack has heard the Tropical Butterfly House in North Anston has joined him by taking to the shimmering seven seas to bring families some swashbuckling fun this summer.

Youngsters are encouraged to dress in their favourite pirate or mermaid costumes and create some legendary selfies with spot prizes for the best fancy dress.

Take the pirates and mermaid trail around the park to find which creatures are lurking and earn yourself some sweet treasure!

Those lucky enough to find a hidden treasure chest can take it to the jungle gift shop to exchange it for a prize.

And keep an eye out for Mermaid Milly and Pirate Pete who will be visiting the park throughout the summer holidays.

The Realms of Camelot, play parks and sandpits are open daily for children of all ages to let off steam and cool off in the super splash zone, while grown-ups get sprinkled or relax and take it easy in a hammock or deckchair and watch them play away.

Older children can enjoy the zip-wires and all the simple pleasures of summer sports from frisbee and ball games to skipping and hula hoops.

The Tropical Butterfly House is open daily 10am-5pm. Normal admission charges apply.

See www.butterflyhouse.co.uk to plan your visit.
