Feathers set to fly at Cast theatre

A CHRISTMAS show is set to get theatregoers all a-twitter from this weekend.

The Twelve Birds of Christmas will be performed at Doncaster’s Cast Theatre from Saturday to Saturday, December 24.

The show, by HandMade Theatre, will feature lots of beautifully handcrafted bird puppets from sustainably sourced resources.

On Tuesday, December 20, there is an opportunity for families to get creative with Christmas fun at The Twelve Birds of Christmas family workshop.

Amy Nicholson, creative director of HandMade Theatre, said: “Our audience can expect a fun, heartwarming and unique Christmas production which has been devised especially for families at Cast this December.

“There will be a warm welcome from the eggtraordinary birdie professors who are passionate bird enthusiasts keen to instill all sorts of birdie knowledge as they count down the Twelve Birds of Christmas.

“There will be chuckles and giggles and lots of opportunities to join in songs, look after birds and decorate the nests.
