Dearne Valley to rock to the Summer of Love

ROCK and dance fans will be in their element at a music festival later this month.

The Summer of Love festival comes to Denaby Main on Sunday, August 28.

It will take place from 10.30am to 10.30pm at the adventure field on the Craggs site between Denaby Main and Conisbrough.

Acts confirmed as performing include Bang Bang Romeo, The Rosadocs, The Banquets, The Absolute Stone Roses and Headmix.

Event assistant Lynn Appleyard said: “Alongside the main stage, we also have a dance tent with a local DJ and artists catering for the dance scene.

“There will be a children’s area with rides, slides, face painting and much more.”

Money raised will help to support Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and other good causes.
