Dearne Valley kids activities: Bounce into Summer and more

SCHOOL holiday activities including a “Bounce into Summer” event have been announced for Dearne Valley kids to enjoy.

A pop-up inflatable park will be open at Goldthorpe cricket field on August 23, with £4 entry.

Community group Dearne Churches Together will be running free craft activities at the event.

DCT are also hosting two family fun days and St Helen’s Church in Thurnscoe are putting on two mornings of crafts and free food for under-11s.

First up is the chance to find out about “Lost Things” and how they’re found at Furlong Road Methodist Church in Bolton-on-Dearne from 10am to noon om July 26, followed by God’s Great Party at Goldthorpe Pentecostal Community Church in Goldthorpe at the same times on August 2.

Both events are free to attend, with crafts and activities to do and a free lunch.
