Dad's Army favourite offering a bit of variety

DAD’S Army star Frank Williams will be taking part in a variety show coming to Doncaster’s Cast Theatre next month (November).

Frank, who famously played vicar Rev Timothy Farthing in the classic comedy series, will be part of The Good Old Days of Variety on Tuesday, November 15.

The actor will be celebrating a lifetime on stage, TV and film in productions such as Dad’s Army, The Two Ronnies, Emergency Ward Ten and Morecambe and Wise.

The full supporting company for the show includes The Comedian’s Nicky Martyn and singing star and recording artist Tammy Jones, along with illusions speciality act High Jinx and live musicians offering plenty of songs to sing along to.

Tickets for The Good Old Days of Variety, which begins at 1.30pm, cost £15 or £13 concessions.
