Cutler's Arms back in business tonight following cellar fire
Staff at The Cutler’s Arms in Westgate said the pub was back in business following the blaze last weekend and urged punters to show their support.
Mick Warburton (below), co-director of the pub’s owners, Chantry Brewery, said: “Five years since we opened, the unimaginable happened — we had a small fire that caused considerable damage.

“There wasn’t any timber for the fire to spread up, it was caught early and luckily the fire had burnt a water pipe so it acted like a sprinkler.
“Frank, our resident Cutler’s ghost, was definitely helping us out.
“But now we need you more than ever, to support us, all the fantastic bands, our staff and Rotherham’s only brewery to recover from this devastation.

The Cutler’s will reopen tonight after staff worked “absolute miracles” to get things shipshape for the first of three music nights over the weekend.
There is free entry for Geoffrey Oicott, Cambodia and Ukelele Bailey at 9am tonight, followed by Dizzy Lizzy vs Lovehunter and Supernaut tomorrow deom 7pm and Northern Quarter from 4pm on Sunday.
