Conisbrough Forward have bought trees for the shops in Conisbrough to brighten up the centre of the village and Penny LLoyd-Rees, secretary of organisers Conisbrough Forward, said they would like to thank Wm Waites Cash and Carry for providing the trees at a discount price.

“Each shop has decorated their tree and will keep them for years to come,” Penny added.

“We would encourage the whole community to get involved with the events of the day.”
