Coffee morning to benefit bereaved parents

A CHARITY coffee morning is being held tomorrow in aid of parents who have lost children during pregnancy or infancy.

Mum Kelly Attree, who lost her own son Samuel, has organised the fund-raiser for  “angel parents” at Mexborough Resource Centre from 9.30am to 1pm.

Those attending will be asked to sign a petition asking the government to introduce a nationally-recognised Remembrance day for all parents affected by infant deaths or those during pregancy.

Money will also be collected for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity and

ComforTeds, which produces knitted teddies for bereaved parents.

Organiser Kelly said she was keen to receive contributions of raffle prizes and cakes for the event.
