“I NEED a Christmas card to send out to my friends, but I don’t want any old Christmas card, no, I want to send a card that’s designed by YOU!" said Captain Jack.

“Once again, I’m calling on the Clipper Club to send me your best Christmas-inspired pictures you’ve drawn.

“You can draw anything you want – reindeers, snowmen, mice pies, Santa, a manger, the Three Wise Men, elves – the list is endless.

“You can even write a festive message on the front, it’s completely up to you.

“Advertiser editor Andrew Mosley will pick his favourite picture and the winner will see their design turned into a Christmas card.

“Fifty will be printed and given to the lucky winner for you to hand out to your friends and family.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for you to see your drawing transformed into a beautiful Christmas card that you can keep forever.”

Post your design to Captain Jack and title it Christmas card competition, including your full name, age, phone number and address.

The closing date for entries is noon on December 3.

The Clipper Club is open to children aged 4-14 years-old.

Members receive a birthday card from Captain Jack and also the chance to win a trip to Cineworld, Sheffield to see a children's film of their choice with four friends.
