Christmas at the folk club 'raises the rafters'

Raising the Rafters members will meet at the St James’ Rooms, Church Street, Wath, next to Wath Parish Church, at 8pm on Saturday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Guest artists are six-piece folk band Panjandrum, who play a range of contemporary and traditional music from Britain, America and beyond. 

There will also be a regular band of talented singers and musicians in support but anyone who wants to take an instrument and join in is welcome.

Doors open at 7.30pm and the music starts at 8pm. 

Entrance is £5 on the door which includes mince pies.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own wine, beer and spirits.
