These included workshops on chocolate making, smoothie making, bike maintenance, road safety and construction skills, as well as team building activities.

They were able to learn new skills, as well as think about how these skills might be applied in the workplace and as an entrepreneur, creating products and a marketing strategy that was then pitched to a panel of young entrepreneurs from Rotherham Youth Enterprise.

The Mayor and Consort of Rotherham, Cllr Maggi Clark and Mr Peter Clarke, wereinvited along to present certificates and prizes at the end of the summer school.
