Chance for Rotherham young to run a shop

Charity YMCA White Rose will be giving young apprentices the chance to stock and sell from a pop-up shop at the myplace youth centre in St Ann’s.

Arts and craft items made by the young people from recycled items will soon be on sale too. 

YMCA White Rose trustee Ron Johnson said: “This is a great opportunity for young people to get involved. 

“They will be learning about retail, gaining qualifications whilst serving the local community, too.” 

The general public are invited to an opening ceremony on Wednesday ay 10am, where refreshments will be provided.
