Care home set to open its doors
MEMBERS of the public are invited to meet residents and look around at a care home open day.
They will also be able to enjoy wartime food such as corned beef hash, take part in raffles and participate in games during the event on Friday, June 17 at Epworth House, Park Road in Thurnscoe.
A local history group will also attend the event which will take place from 10.30am to 3pm.
There will be free admission.
Money raised will go to the residents’ fund.
