Care home invites public to take a look
MEMBERS of the public are invited to meet residents and look around at a care home open day tomorrow (17).
They will also be able to enjoy wartime food such as corned beef hash, take part in raffles and participate in games during the event at Epworth House, Park Road in Thurnscoe.
A local history group will also attend the event which will take place from 10.30am to 3pm.
There will be free admission.
Money raised will go to the residents’ fund.

Hide AdAlso opening its doors is Flower Park Care Home in Denaby, which is open from 2pm to 6pm tomorrow. Refreshment will be provided.
On Sunday, the home is marking Fathers’ Day with entertainment from Alex John from 2.45pm to 3.45pm.
