Business helps fix festive feast for homeless

MAINTENANCE firm staff helped to fix up a festive feast for the homeless.

Volunteers Katrina Smith, Heidi Thompson and Kelly Johnston from Willmott Dixon served Christmas lunch to 80 homeless people at the annual Shiloh Christmas service.

The Mayor of Rotherham, Maggi Clark and MP Sarah Champion also attended the event.

Heidi Thompson, who is Willmott Dixon’s partnership manager, said: “It was great to learn more about Shiloh and the work that they do.

“We met so many people from all walks of life who despite their own troubles were good fun and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend it.”
