There will be a concert by the Colin Yates Band from 7pm, with tickets still available, and a fireworks spectacular tomorrow night from 6pm set to militart music, as well as children’s rides.

The traditional remembrance service will be held at the centre at 9.45am on Sunday, before villagers are encouraged to walk together to St George’s Church for a memorial service in the churchyard.

The commemorations conclude with a football match celebrating the famous 1914 Christmas Day truce.
