Ball to support young Parkinson's Disease sufferers

A CHARITY ball is being held this weekend to raise awareness of Parkinson’s Disease among younger people.

Rotherham group ADAPT (A Different Attitude to Parkinson’s Treatment) is hosting the event at Aston Hall Hotel from 6pm on Saturday.

The group’s founder is 44-year-old Parkinson’s sufferer Damian Gath.

The ball aims to put the spotlight on a lack of government support for sufferers and the help ADAPT gives younger people with Parkinson’s in coping with their disease and staying active.
