Authors promise library treat

TWO authors are planning to bring reading to life in Rotherham next week.

The Library@Riverside is holding an event with novelists Susan Elliot Wright and James Wheatley on Wednesday at 7pm.

The Things We Never Said and The Secrets We Left Behind are both critically-praised novels written by Susan Elliot Wright.

Her companion for the night, James Wheatley, is a Sheffield Hallam University graduate who will present his debut novel, Magnificent Joe.

Susan and James will be visiting the town centre library in order to discuss their respective works and writing inspirations as well as their personal journeys and successes.

The aim of the event is to help connect writers living in the North East and Yorkshire with local readers.

The organisers, Read Regional Author, are partnered with libraries throughout the region in order to ensure that libraries stock books written by northern authors and to hold events such as these.
