Artist Sara Beavan-Widdowson has been working with a heritage groups and young people at Myplace to create designs for a large screen.

And the public are invited to have a look at and have their say on the designs they created together at the Library @ Riverside on Saturday (April 5) between 10am and 2pm.

Another, artist Maggy Howarth, has already made a lovely pebble mosaic for Clifton Park and will show slides talk on how she creates her artworks of art on April 10, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Library@Riverside.

The audience is invited to suggest themes and ideas for inclusion in the new mosaic.

The event is free and open to all, but places should be booked through Customer and Library Services on 01709 823606.

The projects are funded by developers TCN and Arts Council England, and are part of the Popped Art Project which will include an event in the town centre on June 28 in collaboration with Open Minds Theatre Company, Rotherham Arts Events, Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance, Grimm & Co and Point Blank Theatre.
