Anglers warned of fishing licence checks
ANGLERS are being warned that fisheries enforcement officers will be visiting lakes and river banks across Yorkshire over the Bank Holiday weekend to check rod licences.
They will be looking for people who are fishing illegally without a licence – which could lead to prosecution.
Licences can be obtained at post offices, at www.postoffice.co.uk/rod-fishing-licence or by telephoning 03708 506 506.
