Alternative Christmas fair in Wombwell offers free taster sessions

THE organiser of an alternative Christmas fair hopes it will turn newcomers on to stress-busting techniques.

Hypno-therapist Terri Williamson, founder of social enterprise Radiance and Relaxation, will offer taster sessions and short workshops at Wombwell Libary on Friday.

They will include mediation, laughter yoga and tai chi ruler sessions.

More traditional festive fare including chocolates, cakes, jewellery and wreaths will also be on offer at the event from noon to 4pm.

All proceeds from Friday’s event will go to Young Lives Thrive, to help young people suffering from depression and mental health issues.

Terri said she had recently landed a lottery funding windfall and hoped to expand her services in the new year to support young people as well as older adults.
