Doncaster’s Cast Theatre will be marking 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare on Thursday, May 4 with a production focusing on two of his tragedies.

Shakespeare Untold, developed by London’s world-renowned Globe Theatre, tells the tales of Romeo and Juliet and Titus Andronicus through usually unseen characters

In Romeo Untold, the story of Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers is retold through the eyes of the Capulet Ball’s party planner, played by Sally Lofthouse.  

Titus Untold presents Shakespeare’s goriest tragedy, Titus Andronicus, as seen from the kitchen of Titus’ piemaker, played by Tom Giles.

The production is written by Adam Sibbald and Harper Ray.
