They began on Effingham Street at 1.30pm on Sunday, heading through town before a service at Rotherham Minster.

It was the first time in eight years that Rotherham had seen such a large contingent of cadets to allow for a significant Trafalgar Day Parade.

Trafalgar Day marks the anniversary of the Royal Navy’s victory over French and Spanish fleets in the Battle of Trafalgar on October 21, 1805. Cadets across the country parade on the nearest Sunday.
