Unconventional curiosities exhibition showcases mind-bending art at Rotherham Markets

Mind-bending paintings, eccentric sculptures and thought-provoking installations are on show at Rotherham Markets to intrigue and inspire dedicated art lovers and casual observers alike.

Unconventional Curiosities, which runs until June 2, is the latest exhibition by Rotherham Open Arts Renaissance.

The group’s thirdspace gallery at the indoor market operates as a hub for art workshops and a central spot to showcase artwork to a wider public.

Artists exhibiting their creations include Amanda Daley of Minx Designs, Chris Bilton, Margaret Hall, Ken Horne, Alan Jackson of CuSi Sounds, and Lombutroup.

A ROAR spokesperson said: “This exhibition is a must-see for anyone looking for inspiration and connection through creativity.

“Take the time to explore the gallery and appreciate the unique pieces on display.”

The exhibition is free and the gallery is open from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.
