LETWELL Street Fair returned last weekend with a flower festival, an art exhibition and the ever-popular snail racing.

This year’s event saw the village’s historic church — which recently marked its 150th anniversary — open to visitors to admire its floral display and an exhibition by members of Letwell Art Group.

Saturday’s summer celebration also featuerd pot smashing, maypole dancing and classic military vehicles, while the WI served cream teas in the village hall.

Proceeds from the event will go towards installing toilets in the church.
