Jack Sheffield talks about his new book at the Harley Mission Rooms

THE AUTHOR behind a series of popular novels will mark the launch of his latest work with a talk and Q&A in Rotherham.

Jack Sheffield is the writer of the Teacher, Teacher series, described as a mix of Call The Midwife and Heartbeat and based on a warm nostalgic vision of village school life in the 1980s.

The writer will be discussing his new book, University Tales, at Harley Mission Rooms on September 8 from 7.30pm.
