TWO photographer friends have teamed up to shine a light on their finest works.

Clive Aylard and Andy Harris, who both have photographer businesses in Wath, have installed a collection of their best shots at Wath Library and they are on display until February 29.

The pair are using the innovative technique of backlighting their work with LEDs panels to give them a distinctive look.

Clive, who runs Infinity Creative Photography and lives in Newhill, said the exhibition featured a varied selection including views of Wentworth Woodhouse and Wath Parish Church, plus a wedding couple captured on the sand and a scenic Greek village.

He and Andy, who lives in Brampton and runs JFY, picked the lighting system to give the shots a sharpness not always seen when using other display methods like printing on film.

The exhibition, titled simply Exhibition of Backlight Photos, is open during library hours.
