Emmerdale star Dean Andrews and Helen Celebrate wedding bliss

The Rotherham couple were hitched in the sumptuous surrounds of The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey, a 16th century wedding venue in the Skipton area… around 25 miles from where the Yorkshire soap opera is filmed.

Dean and Helen, who have been together for years, used the web hashtag #DeanandHelenMeantToBe as they marked their first day as a wedded couple.

The new hubby - also celebrating his 60th birthday - posted: “This beautiful lady @hbg_indiarose has just made me the happiest man alive by saying ‘yes’ to being my wife.”

After the wedding bells, the couple, who live in the Rotherham area, were due to jet off on their honeymoon to Mauritius.

The pair have been planning their dream wedding for a while.

Dean, whose career rocketed in his role as a detective in the BBC drama Life on Mars, revealed their plans in a Valentine’s Day post in February.

Helen, joint owner at House of Rose Bespoke, of Todwick, and India Rose Luxury Hair and Beauty Ltd, of Whiston, describes her husband as “The man who puts the colour in my life...You are my true soulmate and I’ll love you forever and then some.”

Dean's sister Rachel wrote on Facebook: “So proud of this brother of mine and its wonderful to see him marry the love of his life. I love to see him happy. It makes my heart burst.

“Who knew he would sing her down the aisle....I blubbed like a baby!”

The pair are parents and grandparents.
