Creepy crawlies help writer Gervase Phinn launch Bramley school's new class
The writer brought along a selection of hand puppets - three spiders and a wolf - to Bramley Sunnyside Junior School on Tuesday, when he was the guest of honour at the new facility’s official opening.
The open-plan facility, which can be used for standard lessons or learning related to its surroundings, was paid for by the Friends Association of Bramley Sunnyside Schools (FABSS), a parents and volunteers group which organises events to fund “little extras” beyond the regular tools of learning.

The building, which has capacity for 30 children, was funded after being added by the school to its “wish list” of equipment or facilities to boost students’ prospects.
