Comedy star Paul Chuckle bumps into TV chef Gordon Ramsay while on "tour" promoting Marie Curie appeal

Perhaps the quarter-finalist of BBC’s Masterchef gave Chef Ramsay a word or two on his cooking skills?

ROTHERHAM comedian Paul Elliott — one half of the Chuckle Brothers — bumped into one of the most recognisable chefs in the world in a busy week as he promoted a cause close to his heart.

Paul appeared on Tuesday’s edition of ITV’s This Morning to talk about his work as an ambassador for Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal and his late brother Barry, who died from bone cancer in 2019.

He had been at a Morrisons store in Retford on Friday volunteering for the charity whilst posing for photos with staff and members of the public.

Whilst taking in the sights of London, Paul took a trip down memory lane to visit the former Empire Theatre in Shepherd’s Bush, now an O2 Academy venue, where he auditioned as a 15-year-old for the BBC show ‘It’s Up To You’ alongside Barry.

On his travels, Paul dined at London’s Savoy River Restaurant on Tuesday and had a selfie with none other than Gordon Ramsay.

The Michelin-starred TV chef has appeared regularly on television programmes such as Hell’s Kitchen, The F Word and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.

He charges £28 for fish and chips at the restaurant, which opened in 2021, with “panoramic views” of the River Thames.
