Arts ticket bank launched

A SOUTH Yorkshire company has announced a new nationwide initiative to help people access the arts during the cost of living crisis.

Sheffield-based Tickets for Good, whose local partners include Tramlines, The Leadmill, Sheffield Theatres, and Rotherham Civic, is launching the first nationwide ticket bank.

It will give free or heavily discounted tickets to festivals, live music, theatre, comedy, and sporting events to anyone who has received UK Government Cost Of Living payments – some eight million-plus people in the UK.
