Alvarez Kings release first new track in two years

ROTHERHAM’S Alvarez Kings release their first new music in two years — and their first release with guitarist/producer Aidan Thomspon — this week.

Invincible, out on Friday, is the four-piece’s first release since debut album Somewhere Between in 2017 and maintains their record for electronic-tinged indie pop.

Thompson succeeded Sean Parkin as lead guitarist when London-based Sean decided to call it quits.

The band are signed to Warner Bros and currently based at Elliott Kennedy’s Steelworks studio in Sheffield.
