A free children’s show takes place this week at Swinton Library

Visitors have the chance to go along to Swinton Library for Paradise Planet, a collection of ocean stories for primary schoolchildren, on Wednesday, April 17, at 11am.

This world of musical mayhem, aimed at youngsters aged seven to 11, follows the adventures of humans who live on the waves and the animals which live beneath them.

The interactive opera celebrates the awesome power of the ocean — but things are not all as they seem and the animals are in danger and as the stories collide it is up to the visitors to save this magical world.

Using song, live musicians and sound-design wizardry, Paradise Planet shows children that they have the power to change the world.
