Venue: Bluebell Conference Suite at the Fairway, Dodworth

    Time: 14:00 - 16:00

Details: The band invites you to “OSB plays Disney” a fantastic afternoon of music, and fun filled activities. This family event will once again be held at the Bluebell Banqueting Suite at The Fairway in Dodworth on Sunday the 15th of April at 2pm. Band members will dress as popular Disney characters with everyone from Mary Poppins to Buzz light year, Captain Hook to the Fairy Godmother. MD Owen Wedgwood, our very own Captain Jack Sparrow for the day, will lead the band through a musical sound track of some of the best loved Disney and family film music of all time, with music from Tangled and The Jungle Book to Bednobs and Broomsticks. At our 2016 event it was great to see so many families with young and old all soaking up the magical atmosphere, we hope to see adults and children alike - dressed as pretty princesses and brave super heroes once more. On the day we will keep you all entertained with Disney activity sheets, face painting, a fun DIY photo booth, a best costume contest and of course a sweet treat or two from our Sweety table . There’ll be singing and dancing with the Disney Singalong Princess Singers, Mickey ears ring toss game and others too, there’ll also be the chance for the children to get up close with the band and get involved with the music as they try out our percussive bit box, so they can play in time with the music! It was so much fun last time and we can't wait to do it again! Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for Children; available from our Band's Secretary Danni either by phone on: 07540240703 or by emailing info@oldsilkstoneband.com.
