You're playing for contracts: Bester

TITANS play their final regular league game this afternoon with coach Andre Bester saying: “Everyone’s now playing for their contracts.”

With the Clifton Lane side having sealed their place in the Championship’s promotion shootout, albeit with a losing bonus point at relegation-haunted Moseley, Rotherham aim to head into the play-offs in a fortnight’s time with a home victory over Bristol.

But Bester still has to be convinced that some players are worth their place in next season’s squad\_and with recruitment plans now under way he says the play-offs are the ideal proving ground.

“We have high ambitions next year and it promises to be an exciting one for the club,” said Bester.

“Our expectations will be high and the remaining games this year will give the players the opportunity to make an impact against the top teams in this division.

“There are still question marks over some and the six games in the play-offs will give the boys the experience of playing in the toughest environment.."
