Titans have stopped licking their wounds after the play-off defeats at the hands of the moneybags West Country side and go into the game with a five-match winning sequence which has seen confidence boom at Clifton Lane.

And they won’t be overawed against the table-toppers, says Blackett.

“We know how strong Bristol are and we know the test we’ll face this Sunday but we won’t be scared of them,” he says.

“We pushed them close on their own ground last season, especially in the play-offs, and we’ll go there with every intention of keeping our own run going.”
