We'll kick on, says Dallan

AUSSIE half back Dallan Murphy says Rotherham will regroup after Saturday’s defeat and will learn from their game against one of the Championship favourites.

Murphy has settled in well at Clifton Lane and the former Queensland Red has already formed a quality partnership with scrum-half Charlie Mulchrone.

Now he wants Titans to pick up the pieces from the setback against London Welsh and kick on.

He said: “It just comes down to a few little errors in rugby, a few penalties, and you can’t give teams like that a sniff.

“We will learn that we have to take our opportunities and we have to keep opposing sides on the back foot. You have keep the ball rolling and can’t let them back into the game.”

Murphy had to look on as the home pack struggled at times against the meatier Welsh side — and also against a catalogue of refereeing decisions which went against the home team when the forwards went head-to-head.

“It was hard because their scrum kept going fowards so well, especially with the  number of penalties given against us, and it was hard to swallow,” said Murphy.
