Youngster extends stay with Millers

MILLERS youngster Grant Darley has signed a new six-month professional deal with the club.

The 18-year-old has graduated through the club's successful youth system which has seen the likes of Stephen Brogan, Ryan Taylor and Jamie Green all make the grade at first team level in recent years.

Darley, a midfielder who has featured regularly for the reserves over the past two years, has all the potential to make the grade at first team level, according to head of youth Steve Thornber.

He said: "Grant has got unbelievable talent. He is strong and he has got pace."
