Yorkshire Diamonds cricketers heading to Whiston for meet-and-greet

YORKSHIRE Diamonds cricketers are coming to Rotherham tonight to help inspire the next generation of female players.

They team is heading to Whiston Parish Church Cricket Club for a public meet-and-greet ahead of the KIA Super League season, beginning next month.

The Yorkshire Diamonds players are busy in their run-up to the season ahead attending Yorkshire Diamonds Roadshows across the county, inspiring the next generation of cricketers while giving them a few tips!

The event at Whiston's Church Fields ground, from 6.30pm-8pm, is free and all women and girls in the locality are invited to go along and play. There is no need to register.

The action-packed evening includes the chance to play and meet the Yorkshire Diamonds players in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 

It will be rounded off with a barbecue and the opportunity for autographs and photos with the players.
